lizing in military navigation, surveillance and tracking technology, has an unexpected secret weapon as the driving force leading the company – female Chief Executive Officer and President, Tracy Guarino.
Guarino became president in February 2014, and under her leadership, ForceX has continued to expand, and now has nearly 120 employees. To leverage that growth, ForceX is moving its
headquarters to Nashville, consolidating offices from Clarksville, Tenn., and Brentwood, Tenn., into a larger facility in The Sheds on Charlotte, located at 2200 Charlotte Avenue.

Since joining the company in 2007, Guarino has spearheaded the company’s transition from a
start-up to one of the largest government contractors in Tennessee. She has held key corporate positions, including executive vice president, chief financial officer and senior vice president of operations. During her tenure, Guarino has overseen the revamping of ForceX’s business structure and advancing the company’s strategic plan. Under her leadership, ForceX won the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s NEXT award in technology this year.
Guarino holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Owen School of
Management at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY
Oswego. She serves on the board of the Nashville Technology Council, the Nashville Area
Chamber of Commerce’s business conditions council and prosperity leader council, and is
engaged in mentoring services for budding entrepreneurs at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Guarino is also a member of the committee of 200.
