JACKSON, Miss. — Nov. 30, 2015 — Waggoner Engineering, a full-service economic development, program management and engineering firm, has added Kasey Mauney as an engineering intern in its Hernando office.
In his role, Mauney will be responsible for the design of a wide range of civil projects that will utilize his broad experience, and he will work with clients to make sure all needs and expectations are incorporated into the plans.
“Kasey comes to Waggoner with a broad background in transportation, geotechnical and site development experience,” said Tracy Huffman, PE, PLS, director of Waggoner’s Mid-South region. “We are excited to have his technical experience and design capabilities as part of the team.”
Mauney’s previous experience includes project management on commercial developments, geotechnical consulting, construction materials testing and field inspections. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Mississippi and was a member of the Chi Epsilon national civil engineering honor society and Pi Theta Kappa honor society.
