Leading Defense Contractor ForceX Moves HQ To Nashville Opening brings economic development, job growth, new technology to city

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 12, 2015– ForceX, a rapidly growing defense contractor specializing in military navigation, surveillance and tracking technology, is moving its headquarters to Nashville, bringing economic development, job growth and new technologies to Middle Tennessee.
The company is consolidating offices from Clarksville, Tenn., and Brentwood, Tenn., into a larger facility in The Sheds on Charlotte, located at 2200 Charlotte Avenue. ForceX will occupy 45,000 square feet in the new building, bring nearly 120 employees into the city and create new technology jobs.
“We have a longstanding and proud tradition of growth in the Middle Tennessee area,” said Tracy Guarino, CEO and president of ForceX. “And we are excited about our new home in Nashville, and bringing additional vitality to the city’s thriving and expanding technology sector.”
ForceX considered headquarters locations in Nashville, Tenn., Huntsville, Ala., Tampa, Fla. and Washington, D.C., with a goal to attract the best tech talent for expansion. The company serves the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Special Operation Forces, the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Marshals Service and many other civilian and government agencies of varying levels of visibility.
