Angela C. Youngberg Joins Butler Snow in Nashville

NASHVILLE, April 21, 2016Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Angela C. Youngberg has joined the firm’s Nashville office. She will practice in the firm’s healthcare regulatory and transactions group.

 

Youngberg works with clients across the health care industry including hospitals, physicians, long-term care providers, surgery centers, and telehealth and telemedicine companies. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in federal and state fraud and abuse matters, as well as third party payor audits and appeals. Youngberg has extensive experience in the formation, acquisition, and sale of healthcare businesses. In addition, she has represented clients in patient privacy matters relating to HIPAA and regularly advises on licensing, staffing, coding and billing, and certificate of need matters.

Youngberg earned her bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and previously served as chair of the organization’s health law section. Youngberg is also active in the Medical Group Management Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Health Lawyers Association, Mid-South Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Healthcare Service Executives. She was named 2014’s “Lawyer of the Year” in health care for Memphis and West Tennessee by The Best Lawyers in America® and listed in Chambers in the health care law field.
