Lesli Gentry named new director of accounting services

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – May 5, 2014 – Deane | Smith – a leading public relations, marketing, advertising and branding agency based in Nashville, Tenn. – has named Lesli Gentry director of accounting services as the firm continues to grow nationwide.

Gentry previously worked for the firm, and she will bring valuable expertise, talent and experience that will position DS&P for the future.

Gentry has more than 20 years of industry experience in marketing, accounting and management. Before joining Deane | Smith, Gentry was human resources director and manager of accounting services for Medical Reimbursement of America (a Clayton McWhorter Company). Gentry also worked on the government relations team of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. She earned a degree in marketing from Murray State University.

Last year the agency partnered with Mad Genius, a full-­service design, print, digital and video production branding firm based in Jackson, Miss. to leverage growing business across the Southeast and throughout the nation. The two firms now have more than 30 employees in four offices nationwide to serve a growing roster of clients. Deane | Smith also opened a Jackson, Miss. office, to better serve its clients in Mississippi’s capitol and across the state.
