NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 26, 2014 – Deane, Smith & Partners, a leading public relations, marketing, advertising and branding agency based in Nashville, Tenn., has added Lesli Gentry and Allison McDowell as the firm continues to grow nationwide.
Both Gentry and McDowell previously worked for the firm – and bring valuable expertise, talent and experience that will position DS&P for the future.

Gentry joins the agency as director of accounting services. She has more than 20 years of industry experience in marketing, accounting and management. Before joining DS&P, Gentry was HR director and manager of accounting services for Medical Reimbursement of America (a Clayton McWhorter Company). Gentry graduated with a degree in marketing from Murray State University.
McDowell joins DS&P as an account executive. She brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing and event management to the agency. McDowell previously worked as a freelance marketing consultant and event manager in Nashville, Tenn. and Greenville, S.C. She has worked with numerous clients, including campaign fundraising with the Thomas Lindsey Group in Nashville, marketing and event coordination for the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum in Dickson, Tenn., and media event support for BMW North America in Greer, S.C. McDowell graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degreein journalism and mass communications.
