Robert B. Harwell Joins Butler Snow Ridgeland

Harwell will focus his practice on business and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and operations,andreal estate law.

Harwell has experience as general outside counsel for businesses across avariety ofindustries,including agriculture, equipment, chemical, railroad, restaurant, software, and furniture. He has represented privately held businesses in sales, acquisitionsand combination transactions, corporate formations, structuring and organizations. Harwell has also represented industrial and agricultural chemical companies in domestic and international supply and regulatory matters.
Harwell completed his undergraduate education at Auburn University before earning his Juris Doctor at Vanderbilt University. He has been named in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, corporate commercial and in Mid-South Super Lawyersas a Rising Star® in business and corporate law. Harwell is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and the American Bar Association,where he is the chairman of the real property committee of the young lawyers division.
