TN HIMSS Announces New Board Members New Directors Bring Entrepreneurial, Business and Clinical Expertise

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Sept. 2, 2015 — The Tennessee Chapter of Health Information Management Systems Society, a 501c6 not-for-profit dedicated to educational programs and advancement of healthcare information technology, announced today the appointment of nine new members to its board of directors.  These new directors bring a wealth of talent, experience and passion to the board.

The new directors include:

  • Drew Hart, CEO, Inflammo, LLC
  • Shane Stenner, MD, Vanderbilt Medical Center
  • Mark Frisse, MD, Vanderbilt University School of Informatics
  • Jody McGinnis, AVP Clinical Applications, Ardent Health
  • Tammie Osborne, CEO, Bridgemore Concepts
  • Antoine Agassi, CEO, Trinisys
  • Julie Groos Van Tassel, Principal, Microsoft
  • Andrea Gillotte, Public Relations & Marketing, H2U
  • Michael Yzerman, SVP/Deputy CIO, Community Health Systems.

TN HIMSS is an award winning chapter with more than 1,800 members, hundreds of volunteers and is experiencing significant growth.  TN HIMSS is preparing to deliver the region’s premier healthcare information technology event, Summit of the Southeast, which will be held on October 28-30, 2015 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.  The Summit hosts the industry’s leading minds and most innovative health IT professionals, clinicians and entrepreneurs. The event provides three days of education, professional networking and exhibitions that includes CPHIMS training, a project management workshop and educational tracks to network with the healthcare community.
