JACKSON, Miss. – Nov. 12, 2014 – Waggoner Engineering, a full service engineering firm based in Jackson, Miss. announced today it has entered into a consulting relationship with Dirk Vanderleest, who will work with Waggoner’s Strategic Services Team.
Vanderleest has more than thirty years of airport management experience, having most recently served as the CEO of the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) for 24 years. He co-founded the Jackson Greater Alliance, spearheaded the design of the Vision 2030 strategic plan for JMAA, and developed the largest (by acreage) airport industrial park in Mississippi.

Vanderleest holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Auburn University and served as a member of Vistage International in the CEO peer group and as a board member for the Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, Miss.
