Waggoner Engineering’s Kevin Day Elected Treasurer of the Association of Floodplain Managers of Mississippi
JACKSON, Miss. –Feb. 21, 2014–Waggoner Engineering announced that Kevin Day,ageographic information systems(GIS)specialist and planning designer at the firm, has been elected treasurer of the Association of Floodplain Managers of Mississippi.
Day, who has been with Waggoner since 2006, currently works as a planning and landscape designer for the firm, and also specializesinsustainability design andGIS.His project experience includes Mississippi’s flood map modernization initiative, Mississippi’s gulf region water and wastewater program, and Mississippi’s Digital Earth Model (MDEM). Prior to joining Waggoner, Dayserved for 23 years as lead designer for a nationally recognized construction firm with projects throughout the U.S.and Australia.
